A smart, consistent uniform builds a sense of community, equality, and pride in our school. All pupils are expected to wear the correct Glo Rainbow Community School uniform every school day.

School Colours

Navy Blue — primary uniform colour
White — shirts & blouses
Gold / Yellow — badge & trim accent

Important Note for Parents

All uniform items should be purchased before your child's first day. The school badge is available at the school office. Please label every item clearly with your child's name to prevent loss.

Boys Uniform

Boys Dress Code.

All male pupils from Creche through to JHS are required to wear the standard Glo Rainbow uniform. Items marked optional are still strongly encouraged.

Girls Uniform

Girls Dress Code.

Female pupils across all levels wear the Glo Rainbow standard uniform. Hair accessories must be plain navy or white — no large decorative pieces.

Sports & PE

PE & Sports Kit.

PE kit is worn on designated sports days only. Pupils should arrive in full school uniform and change at school if required, or arrive in PE kit if advised by their class teacher.

Required Kit

  • White round-neck polo shirt with school logo
  • Navy blue PE shorts
  • White sports trainers / sneakersNon-marking sole required for indoor use
  • Navy blue tracksuit (top & bottoms)For outdoor activities and early morning sports

Label everything. PE kit often gets mixed up in changing areas. Write your child's name on all items including shoes, socks, and the tracksuit.

Standards & Expectations

Uniform Policy.

Please Do

  • All uniform items must be clearly labelled with your child's full name
  • Uniform must be clean, well-pressed, and in good condition every day
  • School badge must be visible and properly attached at all times
  • Hair must be neat, tidy, and natural in colour
  • Plain, small stud earrings are acceptable for girls

Not Permitted

  • Jewellery of any kind (rings, bracelets, necklaces) — not permitted
  • Nail polish, artificial nails, or henna patterns on hands
  • Casual footwear — trainers, flip-flops, or sandals on school days
  • Non-school hoodies, jackets, or branded tops worn over uniform
  • Unnatural hair colours or elaborate braiding with accessories

Where to Purchase.

Uniform items are available directly through the school. This ensures correct sizing, quality, and the proper embroidered school badge on every item.

Second-Hand Uniform Exchange

We run a community uniform exchange for families who wish to donate or purchase pre-owned uniform items in good condition. This is a great way to keep costs manageable.
